COVID-19 UPDATE

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

The 6th International Conference of Photography and Theory (ICPT) has been postponed to 25 - 27 November 2021.

A message from the icpt team

Due to the global situation that has developed from the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the 6th International Conference of Photography and Theory will not be taking place in November 2020, as previously planned.

Over the past several weeks it has become evident that moving forward with the set dates of the 6th International Conference of Photography and Theory 2020 this November would not be possible without first assessing the situation that we are currently faced with and the consequences that arise from it. The ICPT organising committee has taken the difficult decision to postpone this year's conference for next year.

We intend to organise the 6th International Conference of Photography and Theory under the same topic ‘IN/VISIBLE LANDSCAPES: Photography and the Politics of Land and Date-Use’ between 25 and 27 November 2021 and will be reopening our open call for paper submissions in due time.

We hope that everyone stays safe and healthy during these unprecedented times that humanity faces and we look forward to seeing you in 2021.
