Transport

You can fly into either Larnaka (the closest airport) or Pafos International Airports. For transport to and from either of the airports, or for getting around the city, we recommend one of the following options.

KAPNOS BUS SHUTTLE

For transport to and from the airport, Kapnos Airbus Shuttle runs regularly from both airports to Nicosia. The journey from Larnaka Airport to Nicosia takes around 40 minutes and costs €9 (one-way). From Pafos Airport to Nicosia, the trip takes about 90 minutes and costs €16 (one-way).

If your hotel is located in the city centre of Nicosia (e.g. Classic Hotel, Centrum Hotel, Royiatiko Hotel, etc.) you will need to get a bus. Please visit the the Cyprus Public Transport (https://www.publictransport.com.cy/) for more details about routes and timetables. 

Alternatively, you can get a taxi from Kapnos station to drop you off to your hotel. The taxi ride to hotels in the city centre may cost around €10.

PRIVATE TAXI TRANSFERS

You can also get an airport taxi on arrival at the airport. The trip from Larnaka airport to Nicosia will cost you between €50 and €60, depending on your exact destination, and the time of day.
